Garon, 44, was raised in Haverhill, Mass., near the New Hampshire state line. He attended college at Catholic University in Washington, D.C. and stayed in the city for close to 20 years after graduating in architecture. While worldng for a large international design firm, he always produced his art at home, he said.
In learning to become an architect he studied drafting techniques, sketching with perspective and rendering elevations.
