group. First the large group all attended a progressive dinner that started in Fairfax Station, went to Herndon, them back to the Fairfax area, and finally ended in Manassas. The trek of vehicles then traveled to Amissville for the annual sleep over They all stayed up talking, listening to music, wrestling, and playing Pictionary. The kids brought their sleeping bags and finally fell asleep on the floor around 3:30 a.m.! After breakfast, everyone went outside and enjoyed the snow and warmerthan-usual temperatures. Throwing snowballs led into making a really humongous snowman. Although the snow packed perfectly, they had trouble placing the enormous middle and head on the snowman.
Duane Willoughby came to the rescue with his rented bulldozer and lifted the snow into place. The results were indeed grand with the snowman towering at least 11 feet tall!
