Another example: Last week’s sketchy report on the supervisors’ meetings included one paragraph that said school superintendent David Gangel presented “a list of additional classrooms which will be needed at the high school in the next five years.” Isn’t that important enough to tell us what is on the list, what it might cost, and how it will be paid for? This smells like a major news story and a possible tax increase to me. But where is the coverage? (Yes, you did briefly mention in a school board story last Nov. 19 that Gangel wants eight classrooms, two science labs and other new facilities, but this passing mention did not even hint at costs or tax implications, and it came in the 13th paragraph of a story dominated by such compelling items as the creation of new subcommittees.)
