Walter Nicklin of Warrenton has just published a series of interesting essays, Pieces of the Piedmont: The Puzzle of One’s Life, illustrated with Thicker Hill’s monotypes. It is on sale at the gallery where three of Hill’s pictures are on the walls, “Headwaters of the Rappahannock,” “Rt. 670 Approaching Syria,” and “Graves Mt. from Rt. 643.”
