Edward Russell Cubbage, 74, of Culpeper died on Sunday, Jan. 4 at Louisa Health Care.
Mr. Cubbage was born Sept. 6, 1923, in Rappahannock County to the late Thomas and Maggie J. Cubbage.
He was a veteran of the United States Army.
Mr. Cubbage is survived by three sons Rusty Cubbage of California, Eddie Cubbage Jr. and Johnny Ray Cubbage, both of Culpeper.
He is also survived by one sister Elizabeth Strother Grigsby of Castleton; one brother Owen Q. Cubbage of Culpeper and four grandchildren, Jason Bradley Cubbage, Eddie Cubbage III, Jessica Lynn Cubbage and Crystal Lynn Cubbage.
He is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held on Thursday, Jan. 8 at the Found & Sons Funeral Home Chapel in Culpeper.
