A burglary that occurred at Settle’s Garage in Flint Hill early in the morning of Jan. 6 has been under further investigation by the Rappahannock Sheriff’s Office. Items taken from the scene were beer, tobacco, cigarettes, change from the register, change from the vending machines and food stamps. On the same night an attempt was made to break into Mayhughs’ Grocery in Amissville but it was not a successful one.
