The board of supervisors seems to have ignored this duly elected school board by arrogating to themselves the very function that the people of this county elected a school board to carry out. This seems to me to be “micromanagement” in its most egregious and damaging form. The board of supervisors apparently went so far along this path to even indicate that a specific job be eliminated from the budget.
