In back-to-back games, the Rappahannock High School boys soccer team lost to Madison 2-1 in overtime on April 27 but came back April 28 and beat Madison 5-4 in overtime.
Mike Letsen scored the goal for the Panthers in the first game against the Mountaineers.
“Monday’s game was an unlucky loss,” said coach Christy Sander. “The guys had an off game but fortunately were able to redeem themselves the next night and came back strong and won.”
In the second game against Madison, John Switzer scored two goals, Jonathan Moore scored two goals and Steven Torrance scored the remaining goal.
On April 30 they played Central at home and won 1-0. The single goal was scored by John Moore.
