Horseshoe tournament set

A horseshoe tournament will be held at 1 p.m. on May 30 at the Chester Gap carnival grounds. The price is $12 per team. Trophies will be awarded to those placing first, second and third. For information call Jeff at 636-3279.

Adventure camp days set

TASC for Teens of Jeffersonton is organizing and leading two 2-week Canadian Wilderness Adventure Summer Camps for students ages 10-17; a Canadian Canoe Expedition on July 11-24, and a Canadian Lakeside Fishing Camp on Aug. 1-14. The trips will leave from Jeffersonton and include transportation, qualified and caring staff, meals, most camping equipment and activities. Benefit raffle planned

A Princess Diana Beanie Baby donated by Ron and Janet Makela, proprietors of Hackley’ Store in Amissville will be a featured fund raiser for the Rappahannock County High School Athletic Boosters. Swing into Spring
