An outdoor market and bake/craft sale was held at Settle’s Garage in Flint Hill a week ago to raise funds for the event. Carla Miller’s team the Flint Hill Rescue Walkers raised $347 themselves. Miller said, “We had a lot of stuff. And we want to thank everyone who donated things for the sale or who gave.” The teams participating in that event were the Love and Laughter Cancer Support Group team, the Bailey’s Baptist team, the Spiritual Walkers, the Esther Settle Faith Warriors and the FASCAR team.
Miller said over all she thinks the event went very well and probably raise $600 to $700 total. The remaining items which were not sold were donated to the Band Boosters for their future fundraising purposes.
