Annual Relay for Life coming up,
donations an help still welcome
The American Cancer Society’s annual Relay for
Life is coming up soon. It will be held May 29
and 30 at Airlie in Fauquier County. If you have not signed up and would like to participate in some way there are many teams from Rappahannock walking. If you cannot attend consider the cause and the many survivors of cancer that live here in Rappahannock and those that were not as fortunate and make a donation to a member of one of the teams.
Research is the key to beating cancer even though the many early detection programs now being used have improved cancer victims chances immensely. But, research takes money.
There are so many already involved that it shouldn’t be difficult to find a team with someone you know participating on it. If you do not know anyone participating and want to help or make a donation call Esther Settle at 675-3252 and she will assist you.
