Mrs. Jean B. Moffett and Frank Moffett spent Mother’s Day with Mrs. D.C. Welling and family in Fairfax Station. Mrs. Moffett remained with the Welling family for a longer visit.
The annual Spring event held on Saturday April 25 at the Washington Baptist Church was a most successful day due to all who donated food items and their labor. We raised over $3,000 toward the building fund for the new addition to the church. We want to thank everyone who helped in any way.
The God Squad of the Washington Baptist Church will be having a Treasure Hunt on Saturday, May 17 at 4 p.m. for all children grades 4 to 7.
