Last Thursday evening, the Wakefield Country Day School at Huntly held its ever-popular annual Spring Concert and Art Show featuring the patriotic musical, “Singing the Red, White and Blue” by Robert Mantzke and Dwight Elrich, and a selection of inspirational favorites.
A lilting solo by fourth grader Michelle Fegeas, performing “The Battle Hymn of the Republic,” highlighted the show. Choral director Bobbi Andes accompanied the singers on piano. More than two dozen county students participated.
The school-wide art show and exhibition in the lower gallery brought 148 entries in eight major categories.
