Mrs. Faye Clinedinst of Culpeper spent Mother’s Day weekend with her son and family Mr. and Mrs. Steven Clinedinst and sons.

Rev. Milton Switzer, pastor of Hope Hill Baptist Church down Castleton way extends an invitation to the public to attend revival services beginning Sunday, May 17-22 each evening at 7:30 with Rev. Lacy Brooks of West Virginia as guest speaker.

Mrs. Frances Horner of Unionville and Mrs. Rosie Wharton of Culpeper were Mother’s Day guests of Misses Mary Tharp and Margie Williams.

Mr. and Mrs. J.R. Peyton spent the weekend in Harpers Ferry, W. Va. in observance of their wedding anniversary which was Sunday and Mrs. Peyton’s birthday which also fell on Sunday.

Sympathy is extended to the Burke brothers, Marvin, Russell and William all former Boston natives upon the loss of their brother, Jesse who was laid to rest in Fairview Cemetery on Saturday.
