Congratulations to Teresa Smith Jones upon her graduation from Germanna Community College on May 9. She received an Associate’s in Applied Science degree, majoring in Business Management Accounting. She was a member of the Phi Beta Kappa National Honor Society.
Cathy Lou and Carrington Smith attended the graduation exercises of daughter Teresa Jones from Germanna on Saturday.
The Smiths also attended the Gaither concert at the Patriot Center Saturday evening. They reported seeing many residents from Amissville and Culpeper at the concert.
Cathy and Carrington Smith drove to Smithfield, N.C. on Sunday to see his aunt Alice White. She is critically ill. Her husband Hayes died less than three months ago. Formerly of Centreville, they told her many friends from the area were remembering her in prayer.
Cathy and Carrington Smith attended Emerald Hill Elementary School’s Literacy night last Friday. They expressed their appreciation to everyone involved in making the event so successful. Second graders put on an excellent program. It was the school’s first talent show. Everything was done very professionally. It was obvious a lot of hard work and dedication had gone into the event.
