“It was a perfect day for the runners,” said a jubilant Frank Reynolds, after capturing his ninth Eva L. Smith memorial in the 11th running of the Fodderstack 10K Road Race last Saturday. Although the downpour held off until almost everyone had finished Saturday morning, a persistent drizzle and cool temperatures kept all but the hardiest competitors indoors and Saturday’s race had the lowest turnout, 182 starters, in recent years. A new local band of Rappahannock musicians will appear at the Washington fire hall April 22. The “Crazy Eights,” will give a benefit
