Once again, our community volunteer
fire departments and emergency crews deserve a standing ovation for their speedy response time, professional manner and diligent work this past Friday when a gravel truck fell into the Thornton River in Old Hollow.
A special thanks to Paul Harris and Steve Schadler for their conscientious attention to immediately containing and catching the oil and hydraulic fluids that were leaking into the river. John Wright from the DEQ and the environmental specialists hired by the truck’s owner
