FCT CAMPS
What: Summer Musical Theater Camp 1999; sponsored by the Fauquier Community Theatre. The camp explores the following: Jazz and ballet, theatre dance, acting, scene study, improvisation, stage make-up, group vocal training, song repertory, audition techniques and some aspects of production Where: M&S Studio of the Performing Arts in Warrenton, 341-7711. When: The senior camp for ages 10 and over is held 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Aug. 9-20; the junior camp is held 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Aug. 23-27. How Much: The senior camp fee is $275 before May 15, $295 afterward; the junior camp is $130 before May 15, $150 afterward. Big Finish: The juniors will perform the original musical “Look What We Can Do,” and the seniors are rumored to be doing a production of “Annie.” The end-of-camp performances are open to the public and are held at the FCT Theatre on Vint Hill Farm Station.
