Nelson Nethers celebrated his 85th birthday on Saturday, April 17.
Mr. Nethers’ threQ daughters, Bernice Coates of Brightwood, Joan Bolyard of Keyser, W.Va. and Joyce Bolyard of Englewood, Fla. treated him and Mrs. Nethers to a surprise family reunion.
Nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren travelled from California, Ohio, Wisconsin, Georgia, South Carolina, Florida, Virginia, West Virginia and Maryland for a three day celebration at the Nethers’ home, as well as the birthday dinner at the Coates’ family home in Brightwood.
