Bus trip to National Cathedral
The Annual Flower Mart at the Washington National Cathedral will take place May 7 and 8. To avoid the hassle of driving to this popular event, join Trinity Episcopal Church Women on Friday, May 7 and travel by bus, leaving the church parking lot at 8:30 a.m. Lunch is available to buy at stands on the grounds of the Cathedral. The bus will return that afternoon, leaving the Cathedral at 3 p.m. Expected time of arrival back at the church is 4:30 p.m. Round-trip cost: $15 per person. Amissville VFD plans auction
Amissville Volunteer Fire and Rescue company will host their annual auction on May 1 at 6 p.m. All items must be in good condition and all appliances must be in working condition. Should you have items for pickup please call 937-5205, 937-4218, 937-4954 or 937-5282.

Youth quilting class to begin
There will be a youth beginning quilting class at the Rappahannock Extension Office after school Monday, May 24 and June 7. Ellen Manson of the Yam and More Shop located in Washington has graciously offered this wonderful opportunity. There may be a small cost for this once in a lifetime, fun workshop. This workshop is sponsored by 4H. If you are interested please call the Extension Office at 675-3619 to register.
