The new Blue Moon’s grand opening last Saturday night was more than a success.

Classic rock covers by The Mystery Band provided a foreground for dancing, chatting and smiles, and nearly 150 happy faces passed into the newly renovated club off U.S. 211 west of Sperryville.

George Rosenbaum and his crew — his wife Justine, Chaz, Chris, Donalea, Ronnie, Tom, Celeste, Sara and Jason— proved hospitable and capable, ably handling one of the largest crowds that the Blue Moon has ever seen.

Chaz Green was back on track in the kitchen, preparing appetizers, entrees, sandwiches and desserts from a menu as revamped as the club itself.
