A Kinder Prep camp will prepare children for kindergarten; a Pretty Me class will help girls look and feel their best; Kid’s Kitchen teaches barbecue grilling techniques and swim lessons will be offered for toddlers to teens.
Games Galore camp will have children playing kick the can, red rover and more.
Programs at Vint Hill will cater to children “out east” (see story, Page 11) and programs at the Marshall Community Center will provide fun and games for children in the northern end..

In The Plains
For children in the northern end of the county, another version of summer camp will be hopping too, as it has been for several years. Jim Wiley, one of the program’s organizers says he can’t remember whether it’s been six or seven years, now. “When you’re having fun, you don’t keep score.”
The Plains group will meet at the Marshall Community Center again this year, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. for “fun and games and bouncing balls,” said Wiley.
