The camps themselves are usually week-long affairs, and Wakefield offers courses for children as young as four ill the way to basic drawing that is >pen to adults.
The total program is divided into Ive separate camps or programs: sports camps, such as volleyball, soccer, and basketball; enrichment programs, such as handbell ringing, basic drawing and toying with science; education programs like math and grammar tutorials; children’s programs like storybook camp, and adventure camps like the outdoor adventure camp and the adventure leadership camp.
The outdoor adventure camp could include rock climbing, hiking and kayaking, and is designed for children ages 6 to 8. The adventure leadership camp is for 9- to 12-year-olds who will develop team leadership and outdoor living skills in the one week that the camp is in session.
