John Heflin
Laborer
John R. Heflin, 80, of Amissville died April 8 at Fauquier Hospital.
A member of the Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Mr. Heflin was a laborer.
He is survived by his wife, Viola A. Heflin of Amissville; three daughters, Barbara Voorhies and Helen Dunford, both of Amissville and Betty Weaver of Marshall and four sons, Roger Heflin of Delaplane, Johnny Heflin of Linden, Bruce Heflin of Marshall and James Heflin of Amissville.
Also surviving are six sisters, Dorothy Ann Stanton of Culpeper, Ella Putnam of Marshall, Irene Farkas of Opal, Hazel Cranford of Amissville, Mary Andrew of Vienna and Gracie Wilson of Orlean and one brother, Herman Heflin of Maryland.
Services were held April 10 at Moser Funeral Home in Warrenton with interment in Hillcrest Memory Gardens.

Grace Ellen Anderson, 91, of Boston died Thursday, April 15 at Culpeper Memorial Hospital.
She was bom Aug. 11,1907 in Tazewell County, a daughter of the late Henry Brown Mabe and Evelyn Lawson Mabe. She was a homemaker.
She was predeceased by her husband, Frank B. Anderson.
She is survived by four sons, Henry Kemper Anderson of Wilbur City, Frank Anderson of Gainesville, Fla., James Samuel Anderson of Haymarket and Ross Anderson of Front Royal; seven daughters, Emily Bentley of Leesburg, Annie Sparks of Culpeper, G. Ellen Anderson of Fredericksburg, Shirley Jenkins of Boston, Nellie Rose Chadwell of Blairsville, Ga., Nora Elizabeth Welch of Winchester and Margaret Leach of Englewood, Fla. and one brother, Reese Mabe of Upper Marlboro, Md.
She is also survived by 46 grandchildren, 78 greatgrandchildren and 18 greatgreat-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held April 19 at Moser Funeral
