welcome to play basketball, football, soccer, participate in playground games and create their own artwork. Swimming trips to Marshall or Middleburg are scheduled a couple of times a week.
The camp opens the third week in June and continues until the second week of August. Field trips include excursions to Kings Dominion, the Smithsonian museums and ball games.
Counselors (one per 10 children) are mostly college students, said Wiley, but assistant counselors are welcomed with open arms to volunteer for the program. (“It looks great on a college resume,” stressed Wiley.)
