rrogram to begin
The fall session of the Rappahannock County Adult Education Program will commence on Sept. 20. A variety of classes will be offered this year, from Conversational Spanish to Word Processing. Most classes are comprised of eight two-hour sessions and cost $40. Please call the School Board Office at 987-8773 for more information.
Workshop planned
There will be a workshop/signup for meals and lodging tax on Tuesday, Sept. 21 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Rappahannock County Courthouse, ror additional information or anyone with questions please call the Commissioner of Revenue’s Office at 675-3513.
Representative
of Wolf to visit
Mrs. Donna Crowley, a representative of Congressman Frank Wolf, will visit the town of Washington on Thursday, Sept. 16.
Mrs. Crowley will be available to talk with constituents who need assistance or have problems of a Federal nature, such as with the Social Security Administration, Department of Labor, Immigration and Naturalization Service, Internal Revenue Service, Department of Veterans Affairs, etc.
Mrs. Crowley will be at the Rappahannock County Extension Office from 2 to 3 p.m. Constituents who want to make direct contact with the Winchester office may call Mrs. Crowley at 667-0990 or visit the office at 110 North Cameron Street.
