Introduction to Sufism
,In order for world peace to occur, it is being said that a curiosity for understanding the threads that tie the religions of the world together is important. Sufism is an ancient esoteric school that honors all religions and spiritual paths. Sufism is called the Path of the Heart, as well as the Path of Light.

The Magic of Somatics

Lawrence Gold, published author of articles and handbooks on Somatics, has moved to our area. On Saturday, Sept. 18 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., at The Rappahannock Healing Arts Center, he will introduce us to Somatics, a way of self-care that regulates muscle tone and improves agility and suppleness. These movement exercises reduce or end chronic pain from overuse or previous injuries, reduce the likelihood of back injury and improve self awareness and comfortable rest.
