Virginia State Police reported on four separate accidents in Rappahannock County last week.

A driver was injured in a two-car accident on U.S. 211 approximately four miles west of Route 667 at 7 p.m. on Sept. 3. Edmond Digiannanatonio, 82, of Reston Va. drifted across the center line while going through a curve and struck a U-Haul truck being driven by Tommy Grant, 47, of Isola, Mich.

The U-Haul suffered an estimated $500 worth of damage, but a vehicle it was towing was not damaged. Digiannanatonio, who was injured, has been charged with failure to drive on the right side of the highway. Damage to his 1995 Ford was estimated at $4000.

A single-vehicle accident occurred on U.S. 211 near the same area just before 10:30 a.m. on Sept. 4. Mark Kitchell of Arlington, Va. was travelling uphill on his 1991 Honda motorcycle when he lost control in a curve, skidded across the
