Dodson reunion planned

Family and friends of the late Ernest and Neva Nicholson Dodson will gather for their annual reunion on Sunday, Sept. 19 at the Rappahannock Park near Washington. All are invited to attend. “Come and bring a picnic lunch and enjoy the fellowship,” said an organizer., Lunch will be served at 1 p.m.

Auction planned at Amissville

Republican Rally planned

An old-fashioned Republican Rally and dinner will be held on Saturday, Oct. 2 at 3 p.m. at Washington Volunteer Fire Department. Karate classes to begin

Fall sculpture class set ■*

A fall sculpture class, figure sculpture in clay, will be held for nine weeks beginning Sept. 28 on Tuesday evenings from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. The cost is $225 and includes model and materials fees and will be taught by Charles Flickinger at the Oldway Art Center near Sperryville.
