Open House - a very
informative event l I would like to send a big “thank you” to all the administrators, helpers/volunteers, and teachers who spent the extra time it took to prepare for and attending the Open House at the Rappahannock Elementary School on Thursday, Sept. 9. For those parents who could not attend, due to the storm or whatever, you missed a very informative event. Like my son’s teacher said, “Book Day does not give us enough time to tell you about how we spend our day.” I think the Open House was a great idea and I feel better knowing how my son is spending his day and, especially, how his teachers are presenting the material. Once again, my thanks and appreciation to everyone involved in the Open House. I hope we’ll see it again next year. Candy Henze Washington
