Homecoming is a prelude to revival which will begin with the evening services at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 19 through Tuesday, Sept. 21. Rev. Robert Parks Jr. will be the guest speaker for the revival services. He is the pastor of Courtland United Methodist Church located in the Portsmouth area. There will be special music each evening. Everyone is invited to come out to hear the spoken word and to sing God’s praises. The United Methodist Church is located off of U S. 211.
Congratulations to Gary and Sandra Davidson on the birth of their son, Brandon James, on Aug. 16, weighing in at eight pounds and 14 ounces.
