Country Kids Playgroup will resume on Monday, Oct. 4 at the Jefferson toll Community Center. New families are welcome to join. The playgroup is a non profit group for parents/care givers and children ages infant to five. The group meets every Monday and Thursday from 10 a.m. until noon. Toys are provided. Crafts and activities are planned. Optional field trips are also planned. Minimum dues are collected to defray 'cost of rent. The annual fall auction at the Amissville Volunteer Fire and Rescue Company will be held on Saturday, Oct. 2 in the fire hall.
