The Virginia Cattlemen’s Association announced recently that Todd M. Caudill of Tazewell and M. Scott Updike of Washington are the 1999 recipients of the Virginia Cattlemen’s Association IVOMEC Scholarship. These $1,000 scholarships are available to young people planning careers in the cattle industry, and is funded by the IVOMEC Generations of Excellence program.
“Todd and Scott are truly deserving of the VCA IVOMEC Scholarship,” says Hank j Maxey, president, Virginia Cattlemen’s Association. “They “ represent excellence in leadership, academic achievement and organizational involvement, the selection criteria. All of us at the Virginia Cattlemen’s Association are pleased to provide Todd and Scott each a $1,000 scholarship to help with their investment in education.” • Caudill is the son of H.S. and Pam Caudill, Tazewll. Todd is studying animal agriculture at Virgirtia Tech and plans to achieve his bachelor’s degree in dairy lienee with a minor in animal and poultry
