The game stayed tight until Luray ran off six straight points to take a 40-31 lead late in the game. The Lady Panthers responded with eight straight to get within a point at 40-39 with nine seconds left. A Luray turnover gave Rappahannock the ball and a chance to win with six seconds remaining, but they were unable to capitalize as an attempted pass by Amy Clinedinst was broken up and the clock ran out.
Amanda Weakley once again led the Lady Panthers. She registered 13 points, 16 rebounds and four blocked shots. Jessica Nawrocki added eight points and nine boards. Clinedinst and Adrianne Moore each scored six points for the Lady Panthers.
