Here’s hoping all , the grandparents had a fantastic Grandparents Day on Sunday, Sept. 12! Great weather after our “little” storm last week.
The “Front' Porch Pickin’’ at Hackley’s Store will be on Wednesday, Sept. 22, from 6:30 until 8:30 p.m. Come out with your lawn chair, instruments, and voices for a down home good time.

Registration brochures are available on the bulletin board at Hackley’s Country Store for the Sept. 18, third Annual Rappahannock RoughRide in Washington, which will begin at 10 a.m. Cost is $18 for pre-registration by mail or $20 on the morning of the ride. You may register beginning at 8:30 a.m. the day of the ride at Trinity Episcopal Church. Bring your bike, your helmet (required), and enjoy the scenery’.
The community is invited to share in the revival and homecoming celebration at Bethel Baptist Church beginning Wednesday, Sept. 15, at 7:30 p.m., with guest speaker Rev. Ray Jackson. Rev. William Swan will bring the message on Thursday, Sept. 16. Closing the revival service will be Rev. William Swan on Friday, Sept. 17. Services begin each night at 7:30.
On Sunday, Sept. 19 Pastor Forrest Freeman, Sr. will preach the morning service.
