The second annual Culpeper Harvest Days Farm Tour will be held Oct. 2 and 3 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. Enjoy beautiful fall scenery in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains and visit 11 farms and sites. Sheep and cattle farms, Christmas tree farm, dairy operations, cut flower farm, antique farm equipment display, a commercial greenhouse and a full-operation vineyard are featured sites on the self-guided tour. “The Economic Aspects of Farming”, with an emphasis on what farming operations cost and the impact on the county tax base, will be this years theme. Don’t miss this fun, educational and free event. Visit the Farm Tour Welcome Center at Dominion Wine Cellars, two miles East of Culpeper on Route 3. Continue the fun at the Agricultural Enterprises on 29 South of Culpeper. At 4:30 p.m. there will be live entertainment and barbecue dinners will be for sale with a bull-riding show beginning at 6:30 p.m. tickets for the rodeo are $7 each; children six and under free.
