To accommodate this the Middleton Inn proposes revisions to that ordinance. When this occurs the citizens and the town leadership have the duty and the authority to hold the line and enforce the ordinance.
It was said recently at the county level in a similar context, rezoning should be for the public good. This is for the private good.

I would like to thank those
citizens of the Town of Washington who nominated and supported me in the recent Town Council meetings that addressed the replacement of Steve Critzer on Council and those who supported me this past election where I lost by a very narrow margin.
Unlike Mr. Leggett who was also nominated for the position on Council, I live in town physically and not in my imagination.
I ran and voted in the last election, unlike Mr. Leggett who registered to vote the day before the Town Council Meeting.
I attend Town Council meetings regularly, unlike Mr. Leggett who has attended only when his interest have been involved.
