On Sunday, Nov. 24 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Julie Portman will teach a one-day workshop called “Interviewing and Finding the Story”. This workshop is part of a series that helps people to write and shape compelling stories from personal life experiences.
In this workshop participants will study examples of well written stories to see how structure and content interweave to make a story powerful and complete. Everyone will learn how to interview listening for meaningful details, patterns and images th&t can inspire a compelling story. People will leave the workshop having interviewed and written another person’s story.
