arranging this month, “There’s Music in the Air,” drew lots of competition, and two blue ribbons had to be awarded; one went to Celine Siira for “Hawaiian Sunset” and the other to Susan Jones for “Deep Purple”. Helen Platt, Betty Wood, Ruth Baumgardner, Sandra Anderson, and Susan Jones all won horticulture blue ribbons for their grasses, mums, or camellias.
Next month’s meeting will be held at the Washington Fire Hall on Wednesday, Nov. 20, at 1:30 p.m. Donna LaPre will present a program called “Gardening from an Ecological Perspective.” The meetings are open to the public, but an RSVP to hostess Susan Jones (675-3152 ) would be appreciated.
