For many years, Mrs. Haynes worked as a seamstress in the clothing industry. She loved to cook, can and tend a garden, especially her flowers.

In addition to her husband, Preston Haynes and her daughter, Mary Ann Jones of Oldtown, Idaho, survivors also include a son, Otis Backe of Reva; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by six siblings.

Funeral services were conducted on Monday, Nov. 4 at the Newport Assembly of God. Burial followed at a cemetery there.

Strasburg resident

Kevin Neal Good, 21, of Strasburg, formerly of Front Royal, died Saturday, Nov. 2 at Winchester Medical Center.

Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday, Nov. 6 at Riverton United Methodist Church with Dr. Randy Orndorff and Rev. John Lock officiating. Burial was in Prospect Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Good was born Jan. 18, 1981 in Front Royal, son of Brenda Marie Good of Front Royal and Charles Haynes, also of Front Royal. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles Aerie #4265. He was a 1999 graduate of Warren County High School
