Karnes were born and raised here in Boston and may our Lord grant them many more years of wedded bliss.
Everyone should be thankful for this week, as it is recognized as “American Education Week" and may each of us do all we can to encourage our students in schools to work hard, learn and get all the education they can as it is needed so much in the day in which we live.
Belated birthday wishes go out to Harvey Tharp and Susan Jenkins who celebrated on Sunday, to Patrick Cubbage who added another year on Wednesday, and wishes extended to Jennifer Cubbage and Mary Smith, who both share Saturday as their day to celebrate, and then on Sunday we extend wishes to Joe Peregory, Jake Robinson and Matthew Speck. May our Lord grant each one mentioned many more years.
Sympathy is extended to Mr. Otis Bache Jr. of Reva, upon the loss of his mother, Mrs. Annie Bache Haynes, who passed away on Oct. 29 at the Long Term Care Facility in Newport, Washington. She was the daughter of the late Jesse and Daisy Jenkins of Rappahannock County.
