Case Kramer, son of Peter and Elaine Kramer, won first place in his age category, (5 to 8) in a pumpkin carving contest sponsored by the Rappahannock 4-H Extension Office. Over 20 children entered pumpkins in the three categories which included original, funniest and scariest. The pumpkins were on display for Halloween evening as hundreds of children strolled the streets in the town.
