The Zoning Ordinance and the Comprehensive Plan were carefully constructed to be complimentary to those of the County to preserve the qualities our residents sought in moving here.
The County, especially in recent actions, have been diligent in its efforts to preserve their Zoning Ordinances and keep the County as a special place. I believe our Town is just as special and deserves to be treated with the same type of respect.
There are two elements in Town that are struggling for the Town’s future. One tries to seek a balance between residences and businesses in order to preserve a residential nature for those who have invested their lives in the Town for the long run.
The other seeks to overpower the Town for the quick return on their commercial ventures.
I have come here for the long term, and believe in the former!
