It will affect every citizen of the Town and many people who border the Town. I encourage all citizens of the Town as well as its close neighbors to participate in the debate. (Our County neighbors should not be reticent. After all, several in the County supported Gene Leggett to serve on the Town Council recently even though that was clearly an internal Town issue.)
The chairman of the Board of Supervisors, Pete Estes, told the Lams during their application that they had been aware of the Zoning when they bought their property. Similarly, Ms. Kuhn was aware of the Town’s Zoning when she bought her property. Further, she was aware of the meaning of a B&B in the Town when she was approved to operate that activity. If she thought she could make it work then, she needs to make it work now.
