Tucker plans to retire comfortably with her current husband of eleven years, David Tucker. “I have been living the working life since the age of 15, and have raised six children,” Tfrcker said, “I am ready for a life of rest, free from requirements.”

The legacy continues

The school will always be eager to have her back as a “Master of Frivolities,” according to her daughter Welby. “She has an amazing way of creating atmosphere for an event,” she added, “She is the hit of the party.”

Welby looks forward to continuing her family’s legacy at Wakefield. “I have many fond memories of sitting under my mother’s desk while she worked,” she said. The youngest of the Lynn family, Welby graduated from Wakefield Country Day School and went immediately into Bryn Mawr College in Pennsylvania, majoring in classics.
