The list of Tbp 20 winners can be found at www. escapetothesoutheast.com.

The Virginia Wine Festival is considered to be the granddaddy of wine festivals on the East Coast. Hosted by the Vinifera Wine Growers Association (VWGA), this festival made its debut in 1975 to showcase the first wines successfully produced in the state of Virginia. Now in its 31st year, the Virginia Wine Festival has become a grand Commonwealth tradition, showcasing hundreds of wines produced by the farm wineries of Virginia.

Supported by Booz Allen Hamilton .and Celebrating Virginia Magazine, the festival features a grand tasting from many of the Commonwealth’s award-winning wineries, gourmet pairing cuisine, seminars and cooking demonstrations, entertainment on a main stage and kids stage, tourism exhibits, and a veritable treasure trove of fine arts and crafts in a fabulous al fresco show.

The event is held annually in the national capital region, this year in Loudoun County Virginia.
