Loudoun County's Office of Capital Construction is currently seeking qualified applicants for an Administrative Manager. This position provides primary administrative support to an office responsible for managing the County's capital facility construction program. Prepares annual office budget and budget reports, monitors tracking of expenditures and revenues using County guidelines, GovMax entry, prepares budget adjustments, drafts management plan, monitors capital project budgets and provides technical support to project management staff regarding budget matters. Responsible for all purchasing functions for the office including all system data receiving of goods and services through every phase of the procurement cycle. Monitors and processes credit card transactions and keeps director informed of financial status. Oversees all Human Resources functions including: payroll liaison, preparation of personnel action forms and registering new employees for orientation. Maintains office personnel files and performs other related human resource functions. Researches, prepares, and presents items for Board committees, the Board of Supervisors, and for Public Hearings from the Department, meeting all appropriate deadlines, and coordinating with County Administration staff. Completes assigned research projects on grants, new programs, trends, and other topics, meeting established deadlines. Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a high school diploma and 6 years of related administrative experience. An Associates degree in business preferred. Experience with Microsoft Office software is required.
