The gym for the elementary school has also ground to a halt due to difficulties with the electrical company. Without the air conditioning working in the gym the climate cannot be controlled in order to install the gym floor.

Rolling Thunder members Clif Lewin and Nancy Lemen presented the board with two flags remembering American prisoners of war or soldiers missing in action. (POW/MIA)
Lewin and Lemen are members of the Chapter 3 Rolling Thunder club in Dumfries, Virginia. They are visiting surrounding schools encouraging them to fly the POW/MIA flag. This makes Rappahannock County the second in the nation to agree to fly these flags above their schools.
“Dying is not the worst thing that can happen to a soldier, Lewin said, “Being forgotten is.” Pointing to a slogan on his T-shirt he stated, “We will never forget!”
