June 15-August 15: Cooling assistance applications Assistance available for needy families this summer. Applications accepted from June 15 through August 15. Assistance is available to households tha^ include a child or children under age six, a disabled individual, or an adult age 60 and over who meet income and eligibility requirements. The maximum gross monthly income to qualify for cooling assistance is $1,062 before taxes for a household of one and $2,167 before taxes for a family of four. June 20-August 23: Weight Watchers session begins A new 10-week session of Weight Watchers will begin at Rappahannock County High School if there are 15 people interested. Cost is $120 per person.
