and family of Castleton Ford Road left Monday for their new home on property they purchased in Tennessee. We wish them well.
It might be of interest to some of our readers to learn that Mr. and Mrs. Jim Futrell, former employees of Rappahannock School system, have moved to make their home in Danville, Va.
Now that August is here it won’t be long before the school buses will be rolling. It is not too early for parents to warn their children of the dangers out there, especially little ones eagerly awaiting the bus to be very careful.
Ray Cannon will make a guest appearance and join the Dark Hollow Blue Grass Band this Friday evening, August 11, at the Green County Fair. He will tell the stray of Tbm Hand’s Mule which he recorded on CD about three months ago. Over 300 CDs have been sold to benefit the Castleton Community Volunteer Fire Company. The CDs are available for $7 each at (540) 937-4900.
